Sam Blalack has been building homes or re-designing existing homes for the past 30 years, or considerably longer if you count the two story tree house he built at age eight. Sam has established himself as a gifted design contractor on Marco Island since becoming a licensed Florida building contractor in 2016. Originally from Maine, Sam brings the New England work ethic to every project. He is available, detail-oriented, time-line dedicated, and only satisfied with the highest quality finish. Sam strives to connect with his clients so he can bring their vision of a dream home or condo to life. He prefers a hand shake over a contract but knows what ultimately gets the job done. He is known for creating beautiful, sophisticated, and fun spaces. “Home” matters to Sam, not just in structure, but in how you experience it. Good design calms everybody down so that how you live and how you feel reflects what home is meant to be- a place of safety, comfort, retreat, and pride.

Heather Bass creates space for people. As the owner of The Curated Crab, A Spirited Lifestyle Boutique in Marco Island, she has created a place that inspires living thoughtfully. As a psychotherapist, she gives her clients room to process the experience of being human and as an interior stylist with hb interiors, she creates space for people to experience their homes with warmth, whimsy, and artful elements. Heather has adorned Sam’s clients’ homes or his projects with her intuitive sense of style. She is essential in curating the lighting, fixtures, colors, and furnishings that go into any one of Sam’s projects. She works best getting to know his clients and then being entrusted to bring their vision of home to life. She strives to reflect who you are and how you want to feel in the most important place we have- home.
